System Support Engineer (Wan Chai, Linux, over$40k)

Job Description:

  • Provide operational and technical assistance for the system, services, and equipment relocation in the datacenter
  • Provide installation, configuration, migration and maintenance of on-going system
  • Verify the system, services, and equipment's health both before and after the migration, and assist the contractor in troubleshooting and fixing any issues that are discovered;
  • Assist Supervisor in preparation of migration document, technical specifications, verification procedures and test cases

Job Requirement:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of working experience in IT industry
  • Hands-on experience in Linux system administration and infrastructure related technical skills
  • Strong knowledge in supporting cloud platform and deploying of metro-Ethernet networks and switches, routers, and firewalls
