Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager (Safety & Training), the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

• To oversee health and safety in high-risk works including maintenance activities and large-scale refurbishment  
• To conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and surprise audits at the work site
• To organise promotional events related to health and safety and promote health and safety culture
• To review in-house health and safety instructions and safety code of practice 
• To advise and ensure compliance of the latest statutory requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or related disciplines
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in power or heavy industry
• A Registered Safety Officer (RSO) a must
• Good knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety management and technology
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
• Holder of a valid class 1 and 2 driving license an advantage

Working Location: Lamma Island, transportation to be provided.
