Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Technical Services Engineer I, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

• To lead and supervise cable patrollers to conduct transmission and distribution cable routes patrolling for cable damage prevention
• To attend site meetings with external working parties for implementation of various measures in cable damage prevention
• To prepare patrol plans for special patrols on routes of important distribution cables for damage prevention
• To attend AIS alarm call from operations

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Engineering discipline
• Relevant working experience in underground pipeline protection for utility companies preferred
• Pass On-the-job training provided to equip candidates with the necessary skills in performing site patrolling as well as to take up the work as an Inspector of Works
• Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
• Willing to perform outdoor manual work
• Holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 vehicle

Working Location: Ap Lei Chau, transportation to be provided
