Responsibilities:

• Manage cargo related business franchises of Aviation Logistics Department to ensure efficient and effective service delivery and full compliance with the terms and condition of the franchise agreements. Timely conclusion of franchises tenders or renewals with satisfactory outcome for the Authority
• Execute HKIA cargo development strategies, with key duties including but not limited to cultivation of new business opportunities, stakeholder’s engagement, feasibility studies, solutions formulations and project implementation.
• Establish and maintain rapports with community stakeholders including the Government sector of HK and the Mainland to secure trade and industry facilitation measures in deriving benefits to HK air cargo industry
• Analyze and monitor on the air cargo market trends and capacity situations for prompt response on identified gaps/opportunities, thus driving additional air network connectivities and new cargo destinations
• Cultivate and realize more specialized cargo segment opportunities 
• Marketing and promotion of HKIA cargo capability through effective marketing plan to strengthen HKIA cargo image and exposures

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain or related disciplines
• Minimum 12 years working experience in aviation, airlines and cargo related industry, with at least 5 years team management experience. Solid domain knowledge on air cargo supply chain and airline operations is preferred especially with GBA exposures
• Proven experience in relationship building, management of business partners & industry stakeholders; Solution design and consultancy experience is an added advantage
• Strategic mindset capable to lead the team to formulate and execute action plans
• Proven ability to take ownership and responsibility with the ability to set priorities and manage deadlines
• Strong integrated thinking and fact-based problem solving skills
• Good team player, fast learner, proactive and able to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in verbal and writing (English, Mandarin and Cantonese)
