Responsibilities:

• Develop a sustainable route development strategy for HKIA to expand and capture additional market share based on the perspectives of the Air Services Agreement (ASA)
• Calibrate dynamic market factors to conduct airlines' network planning and profitability simulations, providing justification for traffic rights expansion and formulating negotiation tactics
• Lobby with Transport and Logistics Bureau, Civil Aviation Department and overseas aeronautical authorities for ASA-related matters
• Proactively engage with airlines and industry stakeholders by visiting airlines’ headquarters or participating in external conferences and event to further promote HKIA’s hub status
• Recommend new opportunities for traffic rights expansion from time to time to the management team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or other related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of work experience, with at least 4 years of relevant experience in corporate development and international affairs
• Sound knowledge of airlines business planning, air traffic rights and regulatory issues
• Experience in interacting with government authorities on aviation policies and aeropolitical affairs
• Excellent command in both spoken and written English & Chinese (including Putonghua).  Native English speaker has an advantage
