This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Identify design and construction issues and liaise with relevant parties to provide effective engineering solutions
• Manage works contractors and provide professional advice on technical and quality issues of enhancement and revamp works
• Prepare tender documents and procurement contracts for enhancement and revamp works
• Coordinate with maintenance and operation teams to ensure timely delivery of the works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations and completed on time
• Ensure detail design, technical requirements, material and workmanship are up to required quality standard
• Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation on quality and progress of the works
• Review and comment on contractors' submissions of method statement, materials, drawings and programme

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or other related disciplines with minimum 6 years' relevant working experience in design, contract management and implementation
• Professional qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or other related engineering disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies is required
• Solid experience in airport works, sizeable electrical and mechanical facilities under a live operating environment is an advantage
• Experience in large scale project implementation is an advantage
• Proactive and detail-oriented with good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and organization skills
• Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
