Duties
The appointee is expected to:
1. Assist and coordinate the creation, management and execution of marketing and media relation plans of the Press;
2. Support the promotion of the Press and its publications, assist in launching of local and overseas marketing events;
3. Devise and implement strategies for enhancing the physical and digital distribution services of the Press;
4. Support in administrative and warehouse operation and management (e.g. sales order fulfilment and customer service enquiry); and
5. Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience;
2. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese language (including Putonghua);
3. Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office;
4. Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, web proficiency and brand marketing experience;
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills with a strong sense of responsibility; and
6. A self-motivated and good team player with ability to work independently.
7. Adequate knowledge of Adobe creative solutions, HTML and web-design would be an added advantage.
8. Preference will be given to candidates with good knowledge of the publishing industry.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
