Senior Merchandiser / Assistant Merchandising Manager (Toys)

Business:         HK based Toys Manufacturer

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong sourcing supplier network in Southeast Asia and China
  • Analyze and improve supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery and meet quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost targets while maintaining product quality.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to monitor production processes and resolve issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with the marketing & product development team to meet sourcing needs.
  • Familiarity with import/export laws, customs regulations, and trade agreements in Southeast Asia and China.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in sourcing toys products in Asia and China.
  • Experience in supply chain management.
  • Well understanding the international quality standards
  • Willingness to travel to Southeast Asia and China.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Lead and manage teams ability is a plus, including setting goals and performance parameters.
