Responsibilities

• Control signalling panels and train movements, update and manage relevant data of Train Service System
• Assist the Duty Engineer-In-Charge (DEIC) and Depot Yard Master to run a smooth depot and yard operations service
• Perform the role of Engineer Person-In-Charge (EPIC) to ensure all engineering works are carried out in a safe and proper manner
• Play a key role in any depot & yard emergencies and shift duties
• Relieve duty of Depot Yard Master may be required when formal qualification is obtained
• Prepare the relevant reports and complete the record forms

Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate in Transport or Electronic / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline
• A minimum 4 years’ relevant experience, including 2 years in depot shunting or in train operations
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is preferred
• Be responsible & self-motivated, and ability to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills

Remarks

• Candidates with substantial traffic operations experience but without formal qualification will also be considered
