This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet the company's quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Cooperate with internal and external parties for the product development process of new products and the improvement process of existing products
• Oversee formulation, prototyping, sensory evaluation and shelf-life studies
• Implement shelf-life testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in-process and finished products 
• Conduct studies on given topics regarding the new food technology and trends
• Prepare recipes, cost estimation, product specification and related documents
   

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Food Science or related disciplines
• Min. 8 years working experience in R&D in food industry, preferably with hands-on exposure in prepacked products
• Knowledge in product formulation, product development, regulatory requirement and manufacturing of food products is preferred
• Creative, self-motivated and with good communication skill
• Proficient in PC applications and Chinese word processing
• Excellent command of spoken and written in English and Chinese  
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Research & Development Officer
