We are seeking a capable and dynamic individual to act as a liaising officer to organize and implement major outreach and promotion activities and experiential-learning initiatives which are essential to our undergraduate programs.
Duties:
- Provide high-level administrative assistance and work with faculty members in undergraduate programs committee to strengthen and enhance co-curricular activities and experiential-learning projects of the undergraduate programs;
- Develop bonding and interactions with local alumni;
- Develop and strengthen interactions with outside industries, in particular for internship and co-op opportunities for undergraduate students;
- Prepare promotional materials for social media platforms to enhance department's online presence;
- Provide administrative support to Project Investigators in e-procurements, staff appointments, travel and non-travel reimbursements, studentships; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or his/her delegates.
Requirement:
- Applicants should have a bachelor’s or above degree, preferably with 2-4 years of relevant experience;
- The ideal candidate should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Good computer literacy and strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- He/She should be attentive to details and be able to perform multi-tasks under pressure, with a pleasant, responsible and proactive personality and strong team spirit; and
- Working outside normal office hours (including weekends/public holidays) and outside Hong Kong may be required.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
