Responsibilities:
Reports to the Procurement Manager based in Taiwan and supports Amway Hong Kong and Taiwan’s overall procurement and sourcing strategies, including:

Procurement & Sourcing
 Work closely with and support internal business partners during the entire procurement process in alignment with regional and global procurement policy
 Develop the sourcing plans that aligning on short-term and long-term business needs 
 Negotiate independently with suppliers/ vendors on contractual agreements to secure favorable pricing and contract terms in compliance with company policies
 Ensure service level agreements and performance metrics are met with supplier compliance and non-compliance are addressed promptly

 Communicate tactfully with stakeholders for procurement policy change/ update

 Carry out process improvements in streamlining operations
 Conduct market, financial, cost and customer analysis to guide procurement decision and enhance overall sourcing efficiency
 Utilize supply market research and insights to add value, ensuring the latest market dynamics and drivers formulating the procurement strategies

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management
 Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve performance standard, ensure compliance and strengthen partnership across procurement activities 
 Conduct regular supplier reviews to fulfill company compliance and drive continuous improvement 
 Conduct risk assessment and mitigation strategies with suppliers and stakeholders, reducing risks and ensure business continuity

Requirements: 
 Degree holder in business administration, supply chain management and purchasing or related subjects.
 3+years’ experience in direct or indirect purchasing 
 Able to work independently on execution and problem solving 
 Effective communication and interpersonal skills to handle different levels and types of people 
 Good commands of both spoken and written English and mandarin
