Assistant Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Human Resources Manager with a strong specialization in talent acquisition to join one of our subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting top talent within the fast-paced industries. In addition to leading end-to-end recruitment efforts, this role will also support payroll operations and play a key role in HRMS implementation projects to enhance HR service delivery and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full talent acquisition cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding candidates, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives and employer branding strategies.
  • Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain high-caliber professionals in a competitive market.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and candidate profiles, maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support payroll functions by assisting in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations and compliance with relevant employment laws.
  • Act as a key contributor to HRMS implementation projects, including requirement gathering, system customization, data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies, procedures, and compliance with local labor legislation.
  • Manage ad hoc HR projects and initiatives, training to support organizational development.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of solid HR experience, with a strong focus on talent acquisition in fast-paced industries.
  • Proven expertise in full-cycle recruitment and talent sourcing strategies, with a demonstrated ability to attract top talent.
  • Experience supporting payroll processes and familiarity with payroll systems and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience or active involvement in HRMS implementation, transformation, or upgrade projects is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese, both spoken and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and HR-related software (e.g., HRMS, applicant tracking systems)
  • Experience in integrating AI tools/platform into daily workflows
