Restaurant Manager 

Responsibilities:

• To lead and run restaurant operations to meet the expectations of members and guests in accordance to service standards.
• To meet with all financial targets and control all budget and forecast revenues and expenses as directed.
• Present the section P&L statement to management, if applicable.
• Implement appropriate and effective measures to improve control of costs / expenses / labour.
• Maintain consistency in quality of food / beverage / service / cleanliness / safety of sections appointed.
• Constantly obtain customer feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Co-ordinate with the Chef in sections appointed on planning of promotions / menu planning / staff training.
• Manage staff issues including but not limited to staff hiring, transfers and promotions.
• Responsible to assess staff performance on an on-going basis and give clear direction on how each staff can improve the performance and contribute more to the success of the restaurant.
• Create new ideas and recommend changes to constantly improve service standards and revenue.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in food and beverage / hospitality management
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in an international class hotel / clubhouse / well-established all-day-dining restaurant
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Good Mandarin is definitely an advantage
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Finance Knowledge
• Extensive wine and product knowledge
• Good communication skill with excellent customer service mindset
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial awareness and anticipation of market trends
