Responsibilities

• Manage & implement debt recovery strategy for non-performing loans (NPLs)
• Monitor the risk mitigation for deteriorated accounts, formulate credit recovery plans / actions, review credit collection policies & procedures  
• Assess and monitor ECL for credit portfolios, recommend remedial actions according to legal & regulatory requirements; 
• Keep track on regular credit monitoring reports, follow up credit analysis, process reporting recovery actions and resolutions for NPLs 
• Collaborate with internal business units, outside collection agencies, legal firms and liquidators for problem loans, handle enquiries and liaison with relevant stakeholders 
• Any ad hoc assignments/ projects as assigned

Requirements

• Degree holder or above with major in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Law or relevant disciplines 
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience from banking/ financial institution in commercial credit collection, debts recovery and special assets management
• Good knowledge of banking corporate and retail products/services as well as the business, financial & market trends, legal and regulatory requirement 
• Strong analytical, excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English

(Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Credit Risk Manager)
