Started with an aspiration to redefine and elevate the bakery landscape, Bakehouse by Grégoire Michaud is home to the city’s finest European-style baked goods and sourdough bread, all handmade on-site every day with the finest ingredients.
Founded in 2013 by Chef Grégoire Michaud, it started as a wholesale bakery specialised in supplying handcrafted sourdough and fine pastries to kitchens in town. This humble wholesale bakery has quickly shaken up the industry and received overwhelming support from esteemed players, including Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury 5-star hotels and prestigious airlines.
The success shed light on Hong Kong’s unfulfilled desire for quality bread. Chef Michaud felt the call to make artisanal bread more accessible to Hongkongers and nurture the city’s appreciation of artisanal baked goods. In 2018, the critically acclaimed neighbourhood bakery Bakehouse opened its door in Wanchai and took the bakery scene by storm in no time. Now, with seven shops and wholesale available, Bakehouse has set the standard for artisanal bakeries and built a strong community bonded over the finest baked goods.

Responsibilities 工作內容:
Supervise & train the BOH team in all operation duties for the Layers section
管理及培訓酥房烘焙團隊
Prepare our signature viennoiseries (Croissant, Danish, Egg Tart, Cookies, Doughnuts…etc)
制作我們招牌維也納甜酥麵包 (牛角酥,丹麥酥,酸種蛋撻,由奇,冬甩….等等)
Supervise food preparation and food hygiene standards
監管食材準備和確保乎合標準
Compile daily food orders set by Head Baker
完成烘焙主管設定的訂單要求
Schedule staff roster for BOH team
為烘焙團隊安排更表
Working Location: Chai Wan
工作地點:柴灣
Requirements 要求 :
At least 5 years’ relevant experience in bakery / pastries industry. Experience in making croissant / danish is huge advanced
最少五年或以上麵包店/甜品行業經驗。具牛角包/丹麥酥制作經驗是一大優勢
Fluent in Cantonese/English/Mandarin
流利廣東話/英語/普通話
Good communication skills
良好的溝通能力
Good team player and ability to work in a dynamic team
在有活力的團隊工作及有合作精神
Candidate with less experience would be considered as Chef de Partie
經驗較少者會被考慮為高級烘焙師(大工)
