What this job involves
Achieve excellence in Whitespace Management Programs incorporating industry best practice, innovative techniques and statutory and contractual compliance
Perform hardware installations (rack / stack) and cable installations (routing, terminating, structured cabling), including troubleshooting and testing
Perform hardware decommission and cable removal
Perform remote hands support (e.g., power cycles, physical environment, and cabling inspections, swap out failed components, hardware upgrades, testing of copper and fiber cables, handling storage media, and enter troubleshooting commands)
Prepare and coordinate incoming / outgoing shipments
Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications
Desired experience and technical skills
Required
Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in DC operation
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft server products
Extensive knowledge in PC and server hardware as well as networking, DC power schemes
Knowledge in Nlyte and Snow
Hands on experience in Data Centre Operation is a MUST
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in Cantonese and English
