You will be responsible for:

• supporting the Development Manager in implementing fundraising strategies for major giving, primarily from foundations and institutions

• working closely with the Manager, Development in maintaining great relationships with existing donors, individual patrons and other key stakeholders through active communications and engagement events and activities;

• supporting major fundraising events and activities for donors, patrons or general fundraising; and performing other duties assigned by supervisors or the Authority when necessary;

• supporting the preparation of legal documents to receive donations for artwork acquisitions

• developing fundraising proposals or other relevant materials while working with other Development teams and Marketing, Digital and Customer Experience (MDCE) Department to ensure information accuracy and brand alignment;

• conducting researches and analyses to identify prospects and prepare reports for major giving and patronage programme;

• working with internal teams such as Curatorial, Events, Finance and IT teams to ensure programme quality and budget control;

• maintaining CRM database as a tool to support cultivation and stewardship strategies and ensure data quality and integrity are managed in compliance with WKCDA guidelines to the standard contributing;

• maintaining consistent reporting and implementing supporter stewardship processes by preparing acknowledgement letters and receipts and coordinating mailings and email correspondence for supporters.

You should:

• possess a recognised university degree in any disciplines;

• have at least 5 years of working experience in sponsorship and development with focus in fundraising and managing individuals with affluence or high social status. Experience in arts and culture organizations is a plus;

• demonstrate knowledge about fundraising cycle and possess business acumen. Knowledge and interest in contemporary art or art business is an advantage;

• possess exceptional Chinese and English written and verbal communication and presentation skills.  Cantonese speaking is not a must;

• possess the abilities to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and be able to pick up tasks assigned by the Authority when necessary; and

• possess the abilities to collaborate effectively within the team, and manage multiple projects while keeping excellent attention to details.
