The Job

• Assist in planning and implementing communication programmes for stakeholders including chambers of commerce, employer and HR bodies, labour unions, non-governmental organizations, self-employed persons groups, professional bodies, groups serving ethnic minority and new arrivals, etc.;

• Prepare publicity and presentation materials for dissemination of MPF messages to stakeholders and the public;

• Monitor stakeholders’ views relevant to the MPF System and MPFA;

• Conduct background research, upkeep activity registers and maintain stakeholder databases;

• Assist in coordinating the reception of visitors from outside Hong Kong;

• Provide administrative support to supervisors; and

• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Person

• A recognized degree, preferably in Public Relations or Communications, or equivalent;

• At least two years of relevant experience in public relations, publicity or corporate communication, stakeholder engagement, preferably gained from sizable corporations or public organizations;

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is a definite advantage;

• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Outgoing, outspoken, creative, and keen on communicating with different people;

• Highly sensitive to public issues;

• Mature, customer-oriented, proactive and a good team player; and

• Able to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Remuneration Package

A competitive remuneration and benefits package including a discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered.  All new appointments will be made on a two-year fixed-term contract initially prior to consideration for appointment on a non-fixed-term basis.
