You will lead the technical team to provide engineering services and facility maintenance at high quality standard, responsible for upkeeping robust and sound working condition of MEP systems, building facilities and building elements,  in a commercial building in Central.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, design, implementation, quality control  and administration of addition and alteration projects, as well as maintenance works

• Preparing cost estimates, requests for quotations, tenders, evaluations, maintenance contracts in relation to corrective and preventive maintenance

• Manage and lead services contractors and a team of technicians in repair and maintenance of the building and the facilities contained therein

• Monitor and evaluate contractor's performance in renovation projects and maintenance works

• Identify and consolidate the improvement needs and  implement plan of building improvement

• Maintain overall condition and operation of the building to comply with relevant regulations, codes of practice, and safety standards

• Manage emergency responses to system breakdowns or other incidents

• Perform other duties as assigned by management time to time

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Building Services, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

• Qualifications of Chartership of a relevant professional engineering institution is preferred

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years of experience at  supervisory level, on project coordination and management in renovation projects and maintenance works of the scope included, but not limited to, MVAC, Fire Services, Plumbing & Drainage, Electrical (LV/ ELV), Mechanical, BMS and builder’s work

• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Licence (Grade B) or above is preferred

• Proven experience and problem-solving skills in implementing improvement initiatives, emergency repairs, people management and quality assurance for a sizable commercial building

• Experience with international accreditation and ESG frameworks such as LEED and WELL is advantageous;

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese

• Solid experience in major renovation projects procurement and supervision within commercial buildings

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Be independent, responsible, analytical, self-motivated capabilities, flexible and good at communication, well-organized and able to perform under pressure

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Building Services Engineer
