Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, customization, and optimization of WordPress websites and applications;

• Optimize site performance, security, and scalability, ensuring compliance with SEO and accessibility standards;

• Troubleshoot complex WordPress issues, debug code, and resolve compatibility problems with plugins/themes;

• Maintain and update existing WordPress sites, ensuring compatibility with the latest core updates and security patches;

• Train and mentor junior developers on WordPress development standards and workflows;

• Integrate WordPress with third-party tools (e.g., CRM, payment gateways, analytics platforms);

• Stay updated on emerging WordPress trends, Gutenberg Block Editor advancements, and plugin ecosystem innovations

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;

• 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience;

• Deep knowledge of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and customization (PHP, JavaScript, CSS);

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and WordPress-specific tools (e.g., Gutenberg, REST API, WooCommerce);

• Experience with WordPress frameworks (e.g., Advanced Custom Fields, Elementor, Divi) and headless WordPress setups;

• Strong SQL skills (MySQL/MariaDB) and familiarity with caching plugins (e.g., WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache);

• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices, caching, and optimization tools (e.g., Cloudflare, GTmetrix);

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
