Responsibilities:

• Support the Precinct Activation team to execute event management plans to create repeated visitors and foster a positive association with Kai Tak Sports Park

• Coordinate and execute both physical and digital elements and programs to (1) raise awareness of events, campaigns, and core experiences, (2) enhance KTSPK’s visibility, (3) drive participation from local and overseas visitors and (4) maintain or improve event satisfaction in KTSP events and campaigns

• Engage both internal and external stakeholders, including the operations, retail, and branding, as well as community sports and agencies, to align and execute event activities such as brand launches, festival events and decorations, thematic exhibitions, and community initiatives

• Assist on marketing and promotional campaign development by utilizing various channels such as social media, traditional advertising and partnership to create brand awareness and attendance

• Implement effective customer engagement strategies to ensure impeccable customer journey in events

• Evaluate and analyze event effectiveness through data analysis, attendee feedback and other relevant metrics for continuous improvements and optimization

• Process and procure all necessary licenses and permits for staging the event, ensuring compliance with all applicable Hong Kong laws and regulations

• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
  

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Event Management, Marketing, Communications or any related discipline

• at least 4 years of experience in marketing/event management is preferred, covering planning, program development, budget monitoring, contractor management, and execution.

• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Officer - Precinct Activation position

• Familiarity with audio/technical aspects will be a plus

• With strong connections with local vendors in related business will be an advantage

• Detail minded with strong problem-solving skills

• Proactive and responsible team player capable of handling unexpected changes and situations during outdoor event preparation and staging.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments, with a willingness to work long hours during the event season and to perform effectively under pressure.

• Fluent in spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
