Assistant Manager, Organisation Development

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

You will be responsible for:

  • assisting in the development and implementation of training plans in support of the overall business strategy and ensure the smooth running and best value resourcing of training and delivery;

  • facilitating and delivering training to high quality of standards and at all times act in support of business objectives ensuring the provision of quality advice to line business;

  • creating and implementing innovative media or technology to foster an energizing learning and organizational development environment;

  • evaluating the effectiveness of development strategies and assist staff in maximizing learning opportunities;

  • supporting talent development projects that accelerate and make a change to achieve sustainable competitive advantage;

  • assessing training priorities and gaps, and taking a key role in the development and deployment of learning strategies and internal training curriculum to meet those requirements;

  • administering the e-learning platform to enhance the engagement and learning culture;

  • evaluating and reporting on training and development programs through appropriate reporting mechanisms and frameworks; and

  • performing any other duties as directed by the Authority.

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in Training and Development, Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or related disciplines;

  • have approximately 5 years of relevant experience or related exposures, preferably in a sizable organisation;

  • be proactive and committed in driving training and development projects;

  • demonstrate good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders;

  • be highly organised, attention to details, mature and ability to work independently and under pressure;

  • have experience with Learning Management System (LMS);

  • be proficient in computer applications; and

  • have excellent communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
