IT Network Administrator

Responsibilities :

  • Handle and maintain the network operation to ensure its proper performance, availability and security; including the installation, configuration, administration, upgrading, patching, relocation and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, devices and related systems.
  • Plan and participate in network infrastructure projects and the deployment of network security solutions; including the collaboration with stakeholders for smooth and timely project delivery.
  • Respond to network connectivity incidents and provide end-user support.
  • Perform security and event log monitoring and related administrative tasks.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base on network infrastructure, diagrams, configurations, administration procedures and inventory.
  • Handle urgent business requests and network deployment duties timely during normal and non-office hours with company-assigned facilities including phone and laptop.

 

Requirements :

  • Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years’ solid experience in network infrastructure implementation and operation.
  • Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, SDN, VPN.
  • Hands-on experience in router & switch management for H3C/ Cisco/ Juniper; and firewall management on SonicWALL/ Palo Alto/ Fortinet/ Checkpoint
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering and security.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, good interpersonal skills, able to work independently or in a team
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

 

Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant IT Network Administrator.
