Responsibilities:

• Undertake teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including MBA programmes;
• Develop and implement innovative pedagogical activities and instructional strategies to enhance student learning outcomes and engagement;
• Design, review, and refine course, programme, and curriculum content to reflect current disciplinary developments and industry needs;
• Provide support for programme accreditation exercises, such as LPA and re-LPA, ensuring compliance with relevant quality assurance requirements;
• Create and evaluate teaching and learning materials, including digital and experiential learning resources, to support diverse student populations;
• Assess student performance through assignments, reports, and examination scripts, providing constructive feedback to facilitate academic growth;
• Conduct impactful research in relevant business disciplines, leading to publications in high-quality refereed journals, conference presentations, and knowledge transfer activities;
• Pursue external competitive research funding and collaborate with academic, industry, and community partners to maximise the reach and application of research outputs;
• Perform academic and administrative duties, attend departmental and faculty meetings, and contribute to student academic administration;
• Engage in continuous professional development in pedagogy and research to remain current with evolving educational and disciplinary standards;
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the College.

Requirements:

• A PhD degree in a relevant academic discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, or related fields);
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, Certified Management Consultant) are highly valued;
• Tertiary teaching experience, including MBA-level teaching, with demonstrated ability to apply effective pedagogical approaches;
• A strong and sustained publication record in recognised peer-reviewed journals, with evidence of research impact (e.g., citations, grants, industry application, or policy influence);
• Demonstrated capability or clear potential to develop and implement pedagogical innovations that improve student learning;
• Good leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills;
• Strong communication skills in both English and Putonghua (written and spoken);
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and intellectually stimulating learning environment;
• Willing to engage in interdisciplinary teaching and learning activities.
