WebSphere Middleware Specialist

Job Description:

  • Upgrade and migrate IBM WebSphere/Oracle-based systems to cloud.
  • Validate configurations, security, and high-availability setups.
  • Prepare migration documentation, runbooks, and rollback plans.
  • Coordinate with vendors and infrastructure teams.
  • Support testing (load, security, integration, DR).
  • Assist with compliance audits and risk assessments.

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma/Degree in IT or equivalent
  • 8+ years IT experience, including 4+ years in cloud backup/restore & disaster recovery
  • Strong IBM HTTP Server & WebSphere administration (clustering, HA, failover)
  • Skilled in cloud networking & security (VPCs, firewalls, ACLs)
  • Experience with cloud observability (metrics, logging, dashboards, alerts)
  • Proven in technical documentation, audits, and performance/load testing
  • At least 4-year experience in Apache Web Server, InfoSec Management, J2EE, WebSphere Admin
  • 3+ years in Linux admin, Oracle RDBMS, Unix/Linux scripting
  • 2+ years in PKI
  • 5+ years in security risk assessment & server virtualization
