Network and Security Engineer (Kowloon Bay, over $30K)

Job Duties:

  • Perform daily network operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance for LAN, WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and related infrastructure
  • Assist in network project implementation and deployment, including configuration, testing, and rollout of new network solutions or upgrades
  • Ensure network security, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring and issue resolution
  • Support network security operations, including basic firewall rules, VPN configurations, and vulnerability checks
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve network-related incidents and implement improvements
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and changes

Job Requirement:

  • F.5 or above
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in network support
  • Solid technical knowledge and practical experience with:
  1. Networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF/BGP basics, etc.)
  2. Network devices such as Cisco/Huawei/Juniper routers & switches, firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
  3. LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPN, and basic network security practices
