Job description:

• Design implement, administer, maintain and secure network and infrastructure of the organisation;
• Ensure high availability, performance and security of network systems, Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation platforms, storage systems and backup solutions while supporting business operations and scalability goals;
• Implement IT security control, ensuring network and infrastructure compliance with Government policies and guidelines, industry security standards and audit requirements;
• Perform vulnerability assessments, patch management, change management, incident response and disaster recovery planning for network and infrastructure components;
• Maintain detailed documentation of network topology, configurations, procedures and guidelines, and disaster recovery plans;
• Handle procurement exercises, administration of contracts and monitoring of the performance of contractors;
• Participate in project system design life cycle (SDLC) (i.e. systems analysis & design, system implementation, vendor monitoring, IT security risk assessment & audit, system maintenance & support, end-user IT support, progress reporting, etc.) and other administrative works for different IT projects of the organisation;

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in IT
• At least 6 years' experience in infrastructure
• Shall have valid certificate of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and/or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE);
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in network and infrastructure administration;
• Solid hands-on experience in Windows & Linux servers / Active Directory, VMware virtualization, LAN/WAN networking, network device management, network detection and response systems and PC management;
• Experience in managing network security solutions and endpoint IT security solutions.
• Experience in IT security risk assessment & audit.
• Familiar with Government IT security policies and guidelines;
