Data Engineer (Informatica PowerCenter / Databricks, over $35K)

Duties:

  • Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes (Extract, Transform, Load) to move data from various sources into storage systems, especially in Informatica PowerCenter
  • Create scalable databases, data warehouses, and data lakes using technologies like SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Convert raw data into usable formats, build analytical tools, and prepare data for machine learning.
  • Implement checks, monitor integrity, fix errors, and troubleshoot issues to ensure data is accurate and reliable.
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions.
  • Improve data storage, retrieval, and processing for efficiency and speed.
  • Implement security measures and adhere to data governance policies. 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology / Data Science or related subjects
  • At least 4 years experience in Data Engineering
  • Experience in ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter) / Experience in data engineering platform in Databricks
  • Experience in SDLC
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Good communication skills
