Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

Job Duties:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for services running on Azure Cloud
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure and respond to incidents, alerts, and service degradation issues
  • Assist in provisioning, configuration, and optimization of cloud resources on Azure Cloud
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture and deployment
  • Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and service restoration.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to system configurations, standard procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Work with Azure Cloud technical support and account managers to resolve advanced infrastructure issues
  • Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) in the cloud environment.
  • Assist in cloud cost optimization and resource management.
  • Stay up to date with new features and services from Alibaba Cloud and recommend improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a cloud support or system administration role
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud platform services and architecture
  • Understanding of cloud networking concepts: VPC, NAT Gateway, VPN, SLB, PrivateLink
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX system administration
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudMonitor, ActionTrail)
  • Scripting skills in Shell, Python, or PowerShell
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
