Network Engineer (Data Centre Relocation Project, Temp)

Job duties:

  • Plan and execute network migration activities, ensuring a smooth transition during data center relocation.
  • Configure and deploy network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Ensure that all devices are set up to meet the specific requirements of the new data center environment.
  • Monitor network performance closely during the migration and make real-time adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough network testing post-migration to verify the performance and reliability of connections.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any network-related issues that arise during or after migration, providing swift resolutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the migration process, including network diagrams, configuration changes, and test results.

Requirements:

  • F.5 or above
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in data centre relocation
  • Experience with network monitoring
  • Proven experience with configuring and managing network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Good communication skills in Cantonese and English
