Responsibilities

• Perform daily operation and support INOC tier-1 engineer to handle complicated fault cases

• Work out test plans with relevant parties to rectify different chronic faults

• Attend meeting with customers for discussing technical solutions

• Develop improvement plans with vendors/partners for maintaining service quality

• Assist teams in service restoration during major network outages

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Engineering / Electronic / Telecommunications or related disciplines

• At least 5 years of practical working experience in network operation profession

• Sound knowledge in SDH/OTN, DWDM, VPLS, MPLS technologies and subsea cable networking

• Hands-on experience in managing various network elements of SDH/OTN, Ethernet and IP

• Good know-how in operating different test gears for troubleshooting tasks

• Wiling to work on shift (24 x 7)

• Willing to take after-hours ECO duty

• Fluent in spoken/written English and Chinese.

• Hard working and has strong sense of responsibility.
