The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is Hong Kong’s statutory body for promoting Hong Kong’s trade with the world. Its overseas branch office in Sydney is inviting applications for the following position:
Administrative Assistant
(on-site full-time permanent position at our office located in CBD Sydney)
All applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia without the need to apply for any type of visa. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
Job Responsibilities
Accounting work for the office, e.g. payroll, superannuation contribution, BAS report, FBT.
Handle incoming calls, general correspondence and office supplies.
Provide exceptional administrative support to the team and coordinate with external vendors/stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
Assist in logistics support to VIPs & inbound missions, business seminars, promotional and ad hoc projects.
Job Requirements
A recognised university degree with a minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant working experience; knowledge of QuickBooks and Xero.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Good written and verbal communication.
Mature, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, multi-tasked, and able to meet deadlines.
Remuneration and Benefits
