The Role

As the Group Financial Controller, you will lead the group finance function with potential to become our CFO in the coming year and serve as a vital commercial partner to the executive management team. Based at our corporate headquarters, you will drive financial planning, corporate governance, and capital efficiency while institutionalizing robust financial workflows including adoption of AI and technologies.

What You Will Do

• Financial Leadership: Direct all group accounting, treasury, reporting, tax structuring, and compliance operations across multi-entity corporate structures.
• Strategic FP&A: Spearhead budgeting, forecasts, and rigorous variance analyses to optimize profitability and resource allocation.
• Commercial Growth: Partner with executive leadership on acquisition modelling (M&A), capital expenditure evaluations.
• Internal Controls & Systems: Design, implement, and maintain internal control frameworks across all medical sites, while leading the upgrade or optimization of our ERP systems.
• Team Governance: Mentor, professionalize, and scale a high-performing finance team to enhance operational output and close cycles.

What We Are Looking For

• Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Active Professional Qualification (CPA / ACCA / CA or equivalent) is essential.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of progressive finance experience.
• Sector Background: Proven track record within the healthcare, life sciences, professional services, investment banking or hospitality sectors is highly preferred.
• Skills: Expert knowledge of local and international financial reporting standards, multi-entity cost allocation, and healthcare-specific systems.
• Leadership Style: Exceptional commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights for clinical panels and external stakeholders.
