Job Responsibilities:

• Provide 24 × 7 on‑call support through rotational duties for Octopus internal systems.
• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to systems, software, and hardware.
• Maintain patch baselines to meet security and audit requirements. Perform OS patching for Linux and Windows servers; Solaris patching experience is an advantage.
• Conduct patch planning, bundling, and coordinate maintenance windows.
• Deploy patches with proper testing, validation, and rollback planning. Ensure system stability through post‑patch verification and reporting.
• Install, configure, and register security software across server platforms.
• Perform patching, maintenance, or urgent fixes outside office hours when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science or relevant disciplines
• 3 years or above experience in system operations or server support. 
• Hands-on experience in patching and administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows. Knowledge on Solaris is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Linux Shell scripting, PowerShell, and Ansible.
• Experience using patch management processes and tools (e.g., Ivanti Security Control, WSUS, Satellite, Ansible)
• Experience with server security tools and compliance standards.
