They empower High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), multi-family offices, and private wealth professionals to consolidate complex global portfolios into a single, actionable view.

As they enter a rapid scaling phase across Asia, they are looking for a high-caliber Business Development professional to spearhead their growth in the Hong Kong market.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of a cutting-edge digital wealth solution. This is not a traditional relationship management role; it is a strategic sales position that requires a deep understanding of the family office ecosystem and the ability to sell a "SaaS-meets-Wealth" value proposition. You will act as a consultant, helping sophisticated investors solve the pain points of fragmented data and manual reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Proactively identify and acquire new clients across the HNWI, Single/Multi-Family Office, and External Asset Manager (EAM) segments in Hong Kong and Greater China.

  • Consultative Selling: Position the platform as a "trusted advisor" tool, providing tailored demonstrations that solve specific portfolio aggregation and analytics challenges.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Establish and manage distribution channels and referral networks with private banks, law firms, and tax consultants.

  • Revenue Ownership: Drive the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation and pitching to contract negotiation and closing—to meet and exceed annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Product, Data, and Engineering teams to feed back market requirements, ensuring the platform stays ahead of local regulatory and investment trends.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain high CRM hygiene, providing accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence reports to the regional leadership team.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in Relationship Management or Business Development within Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Fintech/SaaS.

  • Network: A proven track record and an active network within the Family Office and EAM ecosystem in Hong Kong.

  • Financial Literacy: Solid understanding of multi-asset class portfolios (Equities, PE/VC, Real Estate, Crypto) and the complexities of wealth reporting.

  • The "FinTech" Mindset: Tech-savvy with a passion for how automation and data analytics are transforming traditional wealth management.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional presence and communication skills, with the ability to build immediate credibility with C-suite executives and Principals.

  • Languages: Native or professional fluency in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese is essential for the Hong Kong and GBA market.

  • Attributes: Self-starter with an entrepreneurial "hunger," resilient in long-cycle institutional sales, and highly organized.
