Logistics Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and streamline daily logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and effective shipping/receiving processes.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop logistics teams, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting employee growth.

  • Lead process improvements to optimize workflow efficiency, reduce costs, and drive continuous operational excellence.

  • Manage supplier and customer relationships, including contract negotiation and regular performance reviews, to enhance supply chain sustainability and service quality.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies through regular audits, quality control measures, and staff training.

  • Utilize logistics systems and data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve operational challenges, and support data-driven decision making.

  • Coordinate delivery scheduling, transportation routing, and budget planning to maximize resource utilization and maintain cost control.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align logistics activities with organizational objectives and client requirements.

  • Oversee accurate billing processes and ensure alignment with contractual agreements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management, with proven leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and process optimization.

  • Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and effective management of project timelines and budgets.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Sound understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in logistics operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience utilizing logistics systems and technology to support operational efficiency is an advantage.

  • Commitment to professional development and fostering a culture of high performance within the team.
