Founded in 1990, AIDS Concern is a leading health charity specializing in HIV/AIDS response, community health and inclusion for people of diverse sexualities and genders.
Our vision is to achieve Triple Zero – zero new HIV infections, zero stigma for people living with HIV and zero AIDS deaths. We provide sexual health screening, education, HIV testing and support services for people living with HIV.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Chief Medical Executive (CME) will provide strategic and clinical leadership for MY PLACE, AIDS Concern’s sexual health social enterprise. Reporting to the Chief Executive (CE), the CME ensures compliance with the Private Healthcare Facilities Ordinance (PHFO) and other statutory requirements, while shaping innovative, inclusive and sustainable health programmes.
The Board of Directors may, at its discretion, expand the role depending on the candidate’s qualifications and capacity to take on additional responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Compliance & Clinical Governance
· Act as the CME of MY PLACE in accordance with PHFO and the Code of Practice for Clinics.
· Oversee the day-to-day administration of MY PLACE, including the adoption and implementation of rules, policies, and procedures for healthcare services.
Strategic Leadership
· Design and evaluate services; make recommendations to the CE and the Board of Directors to ensure sustainable development.
· Collaborate with the Medical Advisory Committee on MY PLACE’s management.
Community Engagement & Service Delivery
· Represent MY PLACE and AIDS Concern at industry events and with stakeholders.
· Build and strengthen networks of supporters with the Board and committees.
· Provide sexual health consultations and related services to MY PLACE clients.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Medical qualification registrable in Hong Kong under the Medical Registration Ordinance.
· At least four years of registration in Hong Kong.
· Demonstrated experience and skills to fulfil the role and responsibilities of CME, in line with the Code of Practice for Clinics and PHFO’s criteria of “fitness and properness”.
· Proven ability to balance regulatory responsibilities with community-focused healthcare delivery.
· Experience in delivering inclusive, affirming sexual and reproductive health services for diverse communities (e.g., MSM, PLHIV) is highly desirable.
