Safety Manager (18-months Contract)

Responsibilities


  • Carry out regular safety inspection at workplace and advise management to rectify any unsafe matters.

  • Lead and guide the site safety personnels to support company's safety programmes.

  • Review project safety performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Keep update of codes of practices, new safety literature and circulate them to each level of employee.

  • Supervise observance of the legal requirements and promote safe conduct of work.

  • Ensure the F&IU safety audit in compliance with legal requirement and leading to a satisfactory result.

Requirements


  • Tertiary education in OSH with at least 10 years experience in safety management system.

  • Registered Safety Officer with 5 years' experience in construction site, preferably in large scale E&M projects.

  • Familiar with local safety & environmental legal requirements.

  • Good leadership and people management skills.

  • Self-motivated, good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
