Chevalier (Aluminium Engineering) Limited is a leading contractor of curtain walls, metal cladding, glass walls, skylights, louvers, aluminium windows and granite cladding in Hong Kong. We offer design, manufacturing, installation, testing and maintenance services for customers.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, cost optimization, and budget alignment
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contract terms, pricing, and long-term value
Identify, evaluate and qualify suppliers of various building materials both domestic and international
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with inventory needs, stock levels, and storage capacity
Implement evaluation tools to provide regular reports to management on cost savings, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and supply chain opportunities
Occasional travel may be required
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
Higher diploma or above in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the building materials industry
Knowledge in purchasing aluminium extrusion / hardware / glass product
Proven contract management and supplier experience
Outgoing, proactive, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage various stakeholders
