About The Opportunity

Are you passionate about scientific excellence and patient-centric care? Novo Nordisk Hong Kong is seeking a dynamic Medical Science Liaison to join our Medical Affairs department. In this role, you will act as a scientific expert, bridging the gap between clinical practice and medical strategy to support our commitment to defeating diabetes, obesity, and other serious chronic diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• KOL & HCP Engagement: Build collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to foster strategic partnerships.

• Scientific Communication: deliver high-quality scientific education to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global medical strategies.

• Field Intelligence: Gather and analyze field insights to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and inform medical strategy.

• Evidence Generation: Provide scientific expertise for local evidence generation and Real-World Evidence (RWE) initiatives, including input on trial design.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with commercial and regulatory teams to translate insights into patient-centric strategies.
  

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• An advanced degree in a scientific discipline is preferred (e.g., Masters, MPH, PharmD, M.D., or Ph.D.).

• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Medical Affairs or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Experience working in a multinational pharmaceutical company is required.

• Significant experience networking with KOLs with a solid medical network in diabetes, obesity, and metabolic-related therapeutic areas.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese +/- Mandarin).

• Excellent oral presentation, active listening, and negotiation skills.

• Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.

• Agile, flexible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to travel for business when required
