IT Application Specialist (30k, Business Systems & Data, Power BI, SQL, ERP)

Our client is a global organization seeking a proactive and independent IT Application Specialist to join their team in Hong Kong. This is an ideal role for an all-rounder who enjoys optimizing business processes through technology and driving data-led decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of core business applications (ERP, HRMS, and collaboration tools) while ensuring stability, security, and compliance.

  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with business peers to identify process gaps and translate requirements into sustainable system enhancements and new developments.

  • Project Leadership: Lead application-related projects from planning to deployment, managing vendor coordination and stakeholder communication to drive digitization.

  • Data & Analytics: Restructure and optimize the organization’s data landscape to enable impactful reporting and analytics using tools like Power BI.

  • User Support & Training: Provide first-level troubleshooting for colleagues and external partners; design and deliver training sessions and user guides.

Core Requirements

  • Education: University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–10 years of work experience in IT or business applications roles.

  • Technical Skills: Strong background in system integration and data management. Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and HRMS is a significant plus.

  • ERP Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP or Topo Solutions is highly advantageous.

  • Communication: Fluent in spoken and written English; intercultural competence is essential.

  • Attributes: A self-driven, proactive working style with the ability to think holistically from a systems perspective.

What is Offered

  • Monthly basic salary on a 13-month basis, plus a one-month discretionary annual bonus.

  • Flexible working hours and 2 days of remote work (WFH) per week.

  • 25 days of Annual Leave.
