Assistant Project Manager/ Project Manager (Project Finance focus)

Job Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate with the Head of Projects and cross‑functional teams to ensure office fit‑out projects are financially sound, well‑planned, and delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

  • Lead project financial management, including preparing and managing budgets, cash flow forecasts, cost plans, financial tracking, cost control, variation assessments, payment certifications, and invoice administration for both upstream and downstream stakeholders

  • Manage procurement activities, including sourcing vendors, obtaining quotations, evaluating proposals, preparing procurement documents, and ensuring materials and services are procured in line with project requirements, budgets, and timelines

  • Support project planning and administration by preparing project programmes, tender documentation, and contract administration materials, while ensuring all reports and documentation follow internal standards

  • Drive effective project execution and stakeholder coordination by monitoring project progress and liaising closely with clients, landlords, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and vendors to maintain seamless workflow throughout all project stages

  • Contribute to project development and risk management, including feasibility analysis, identifying risks, preparing mitigation proposals, and exploring new project opportunities with landlords and local professionals

  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting overall project objectives and departmental needs

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Higher Diploma and above in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Surveying, or a related project discipline is preferred. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of Project Management, Project Finance, QS or other related experience. More experience can be considered as Project Manager. 

  • PMP, RICS, MHKIS, MHKIE, MICE or MIStructE professional qualifications are preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative and efficient communication.

  • Motivated, self-driven and problem-solving oriented.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and administrative related platforms.

  • Knowledge to utilize Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and related software are preferred.

  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
