The Solution Architect is a visionary leader who plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization's technology strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of business objectives, technology trends, and industry best practices. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining the solution architect, which serves as the blueprint for the organization's IT infrastructure and applications.

What you’ll be performing:

• Develops the ASP's technology strategy and implementation plan. Primary stakeholders are CIOs, Platform Leads, COOs, Business and Transformation colleagues, and fellow Architects (Enterprise, Platform, Portfolio).

• Responsible for creating, maintaining, and owning the enterprise architecture blueprint aligned with Global Bank strategies and providing overarching Design Authority accountability.

• Leading and owning the development and implementation of architecture blueprints, including strategy, principles, standards, patterns, and roadmaps.

• Engaging with stakeholders to influence strategic investment decisions and technology outcomes.

• Introducing new ways of working, products, services, and technology capabilities against identified use cases through appropriate governance bodies.

• Providing design authority for technology and design decisions and leading architectural governance and controls.

• Identifying opportunities and threats in the technology industry and articulating potential impacts on Global Bank.

We are looking for you if you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not required). Candidates with a specialization in Software or Systems Engineering, or equivalent professional experience, are preferred.

• Proven experience in developing detailed architecture blueprints and roadmaps, as demonstrated by extensive Enterprise Architect experience.

• Knowledge of digital and broader architectural transformations, with a track record of successfully decomposing monolithic solutions and managing technical debt.

• Knowledge and working experience on CRM / CDP / eCommerce would be an advantage.

• Experience, knowledge, and understanding of enterprise-level software development and API-based integration, with a focus on building scalable solutions that meet quality attributes.

• Ability to influence and advocate for new ideas and technical directions within the organization.

• Experience in managing ambiguity across different geographies, markets, products, and services, and providing clear decisions and guidance.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide effective cross-functional leadership across diverse populations, regions, and domains, and to build productive relationships with stakeholders.

• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills, including the ability to educate, inspire, motivate, and mentor teams, foster a sense of community among members of technical areas, and negotiate effectively.
