Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven Investor Relations Associate/VP to spearhead fundraising initiatives focused on private credit and private equity strategies for institutional clients in Japan. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of alternative investment vehicles and the Japanese financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies tailored for institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, and endowments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective institutional clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing their investment needs.
• Prepare and present customized marketing materials, including pitchbooks and performance presentations, to effectively communicate investment strategies and fund performance.
• Collaborate with internal investment teams to align fundraising efforts with market insights and product offerings.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform fundraising strategies and enhance client engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or financial services, with a focus on private credit and private equity.
• Strong communication skills in Japanese and English, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships with institutional clients and navigate complex investment landscapes.
• In-depth knowledge of private credit and private equity investments, including structuring and strategies.
