Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership over financial strategy, capital stewardship, and long‑term financial sustainability across all entities

• Serve as a principal advisor to the Board and senior management on financial strategy, investment priorities, capital allocation, and major financial decisions

• Exercise overall accountability for financial governance, compliance, and engagement with Hong Kong and/or PRC statutory and education regulators, auditors, bankers, and other key stakeholders

• Establish and maintain a robust financial framework covering budgeting, reporting, audits, liquidity management, funding arrangements, pricing policies, grants, donations, and capital projects

• Strengthen financial controls, risk management, and governance practices to safeguard assets and uphold public trust and accountability

• Lead and develop a capable, professional group finance function that supports organizational growth, service quality, and long‑term institutional development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with a recognized professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent)

• Minimum 10–15 years of senior finance experience, preferably gained in education, non‑profit, public sector, or other regulated environments

• Proven capability in financial stewardship, governance, and strategic planning, with experience overseeing group‑level and multi‑entity financial frameworks

• Solid experience in corporate structures, company secretarial matters, and corporate governance, with hands‑on engagement with Boards, senior and external stakeholders

• Sound knowledge of Hong Kong and/or PRC statutory, regulatory, and education sector requirements, including audit, compliance, taxation, and related legal obligations

• Resilient under pressure and tight deadlines, with the ability to exercise independent judgment and sound commercial sense

• High level of integrity and professionalism. Strong leadership and people‑development capability

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong IT literacy, proficiency in MS Office, and sound knowledge of financial systems
