Product Specialist (Cloud & Data Services)

Our client is looking for a highly technical and commercially aware Product Specialist (Cloud & Data Services) to spearhead the evolution of their connectivity portfolio. In this role, you will serve as the technical authority for hybrid-cloud solutions, bridging the gap between complex network engineering and market-leading product strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Product Design: Architect product requirements and user journeys for Multi-Cloud Connect and Data services, with a deep focus on Layer 2/Layer 3 connectivity and Metro Ethernet architectures.

  • Network Lifecycle Lead: Direct cross-functional engineering and operations teams through the development and enhancement of data services, ensuring the robust integration of BGP/OSPF routing and MPLS/VPLS backbones.

  • Ecosystem Integration: Act as the primary technical liaison with SDN providers, virtual routing vendors, and major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to ensure seamless interoperability across hybrid environments.

  • Strategic Optimization: Continuously evaluate post-launch performance and customer feedback; leverage emerging industry trends to drive technical innovation and service quality.

  • Market Intelligence: Analyze competitor offerings and customer pain points to identify, validate, and recommend new high-value features for the data network roadmap.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in product development, enterprise networking, or cloud-based IT solutions.

  • Cloud Connectivity Expertise: Deep understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud) and cloud on-ramp networking concepts.

  • Network Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Metro Ethernet, Internet Access solutions, and dynamic routing protocols.

  • Project Ownership: A self-motivated professional with the ability to drive complex projects from initial concept to commercial launch with minimal supervision.

  • Communication: Strong analytical and teamwork skills, with the ability to translate technical complexities into clear business value.

  • Preferred Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, or cloud-specific networking certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking).
