We are seeking a Manager, Sourcing Sustainability to join Arc’teryx in Hong Kong Office.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborating with stakeholders in the development and execution of Arc’teryx’s supply chain environmental impact programs with a heavy emphasis on progress towards our Scope 3 emissions reduction goals

• Connecting our sustainability goals, objectives and KPIs with overall business objectives and sourcing strategies

• Establishing, coaching and guiding a high-performing team  to achieve our sustainability goals

• Identifying and evaluating suppliers (evaluation is done by Global Sourcing sustainability team) based on sustainability criteria such as environmental impact, social responsibility, and ethical practices

• Developing relationships with suppliers to implement sustainability initiatives and drive improvements in their sustainability performance, according Global sourcing Team evaluation

• Supporting Vendor Sourcing on researching and identifying suppliers with good sustainability practices, including renewable energy program, eco-friendly manufacturing and social responsibility

• Collaborating with HQ Sustainability Team, Global Sourcing sustainability Team, and other internal stakeholders to develop sustainable and responsible procurement policies and guidelines.  RPP and guidelines are Global Sourcing Responsibilities.

• Collaborating with Global Sustainability team to establish key performance indicators for Arc’teryx to measure the sustainability performance of suppliers and the overall sourcing function.  Responsibility own by Global Sourcing sustainability team.

• Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address gaps in sustainability performance aligned with audit done by Global Sourcing sustainability Team

• Working closely with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on quarterly business reviews and training/capacity building

• Adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to expedite responsible purchasing practices as outlined in the Responsible Sourcing Policy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, supply chain management or engineering

• 5+ years experience in procurement, supply chain management or sustainability including 3+ years’ experience in people leadership

• Strong understanding of sustainability principles, regulations, and best practices

• Strong digital dexterity, including the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and leverage data

• Proven business acumen and analytical skills to make data-driven decisions

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills

• Change agent in setting a clear vision, aligning stakeholders around common objectives, and fostering commitment to these objectives

• Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions

• Passion for sustainability is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it

• Occasional Travel is required
