System Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ongoing support and maintenance of hardware, software and networking related issues

  • Server, Daily Backup, Anti-Virus server Installation, Configuration and administration

  • Router, Wifi, Firewall installation, Configuration and administration

  • Wifi, Network and system setup for shop relocation

  • Disaster Recovery

  • Desktop, laptop, Tablet installation, configuration and administration

  • Daily operation including monitor IT system health status, system performance and security control

  • Perform trouble shooting to diagnose and resolve problems over the phone, or onsite

  • Assist with the implementation of IT projects

Requirements:

  • Certificate / Diploma or above in IT or related disciplines

  • 3 years' or more relevant working experience in system engineer

  • Hands-on writing script for daily task automation

  • Hands-on experience in Virtualization Technology (VMware vSphere 5.x or up)

  • Hands-on experience in router, switches, firewall, VPN and DNS

  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Windows Server, Linux operating system

  • Hands-on experience in administering users and computers via Active Directory

  • Knowledge of POS is an advantage but not essential

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Self-motivated, responsible and positive working attitude

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as IT Support

  • Immediately available preferred
