Responsibilities

  • Specialized Development: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for high-performance bedding, focusing on fiber innovation, weave structures, and fill materials.

  • Technical Compliance: Formulate precise specifications (e.g., thread count, GSM, tensile strength) and establish rigorous testing protocols for flame retardancy and durability.

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Manage global supplier relationships, performing detailed cost analyses and tracking production timelines for complex textile assemblies.

  • Quality & Innovation: Oversee product sampling and lab testing; identify and onboard new vendors specializing in sustainable textiles and advanced foam/filling technologies.

  • Material Intelligence: Maintain a comprehensive database of bedding materials, including sourcing intelligence on down, synthetics, and natural fibers.

Requirements

  • Education: Higher Diploma or above in Textiles, Material Science, or Fashion Design.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of Product Development experience, with a mandatory focus on Home Textiles, Bedding, or Sleep Products.

  • Hard Skills: Deep technical knowledge of fabric construction (weaving/knitting), finishing processes, and mattress/pillow internal components.

  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex "comfort programs" from concept to mass production.

  • Language: Professional fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
